kittens! :)

I was taking pictures for my digital photography class ( online) & snapped a few of the newest addition to the DINSMORE fam. Dinsmore, not Swanson. ha . Mom & Dad needed two new "mousers" so ta da! Here are Oli & Gurt.
Behind the names: Our other two cats our named Butter & Cream. Keeping with the dairy family we picked Oli ( for Olio Margarine) & Yogurt. Oli & Gurt stuck.  They are now about 12 weeks old finally, & I think we got them around 4. They were sickly due to being weened from the mommy WAY too early, and out of that whole litter these are the two that survived! ( so far!)

one more for the night!

Just a reminder to anyone who is interested! SECOND ANNUAL DINSMORE MEYER CHRISTMAS PARTY is coming near! DECEMBER 19th!!!!! Here is the invite! Anyone who wants to come COME and let us know!! :)

Emma Belle Crooks

I can't believe I haven't updated this in so long! Now so much really has happened! My amazing friends Brittney & Kyle Crooks created a beautiful baby girl who was born in August! It is such a blessing to have seen their love through out such a big part of it! And what a blessing they have brought into the world! They were gracious enough to let me be apart of sharing it with the world & I made her baby announcements for them! :) I could not have had a better project to work on! I can't wait to meet her, hopefully in the nearish future, after the holiday season! I know both Tyler and I miss their company so much!

Ashlyn's Birthday Invite! :)

Here is a cute little invite I did for my friend Mandy ( & Heather ) over in Monmouth! Her baby Ashlyn is already turning one! They are having a cute lady bug themed party and these invites were printed out at walmart on photo paper! Cheap & cute! Gotta love saving on those things!

neglect

I have neglected this poor poor blog! I was waiting until I had more updates because there wasn't anything too exciting happening here for quite a while so now we can keep this going! Tyler has a job!!! At Americold here in Ontario! Which we love because our steps to moving out of the parents are becoming smaller as the savings account is becoming bigger! :) I am still working at Brewsky's which I absolutely love! The people there crack me up, I get to work with friends and I get to see everyone around! Tyler is also still volunteer firefighting, which he loves, although the calls are pretty slim right now!
I'm sorry for anyone who does read this, even if you are some strange passerby! :) I have found a new blogging time! 6 on Tuesdays because Tyler has drill and Biggest Loser doesn't start till 7! So here is where I will be!

Welcome:

My friend Heather & her boyfriend Justin are coming into town tonight for a fun filled visit! They recently moved out on their own into a cute house in Monmouth, so of course I had to make them a housewarming present! I love making mosaics and have made a few of these welcome signs for friends! I love the unorganized welcome with cool colors! Hopefully they will like it & it will add a little hello to wherever they put it! The best for the side of the house is to do the house numbers, but since this house is a renter for Heather & Justin, I have to wait until they buy :)

Riggins, ID

( Above: Seven Devils- view from the 1st lookout tower)
My Dad got a cabin in Riggins, ID this past weekend to have a little escape from Ontario. The 3 of us ( Dad, Tyler & I) headed up Friday night for a night of relaxing in a house right next to the river! On Saturday we all got up early & set out on a hike around the Seven Devil's area! The hike was amazing & a reminder that I haven't been to the gym since I graduated- ( * mental note to go get a gym membership!) Such a great thing to do & only a few hours from Ontario!
The Seven Devils Lake was right below the mountains &  was the coolest color of blue/green! The trout were jumping like crazy, while we were wishing we had a fishing pole!
The Seven Devils from below- as you can see from the first picture we hiked quite a ways up to get a great view- & that was the short hike! The second hike we took for the day was 8 miles with a great variety of steep slopes, steeper slopes, & a few downhill trails to let us catch our breath!

On Sunday  Mom joined us & we headed down the Salmon River for Tyler's first rafting trip! The rafting was amazing & of course I was all smiles! Mom was a little terrified of getting wet, so this is the only picture you can see her head in because she was ducking behind me the whole time trying to stay dry! It started raining toward the end of the trip, which is so weird for this time of year, but we enjoyed the change of pace & weekend away!
